Privacy policy
Last updated: October 29, 2026
This policy explains what data we collect when you visit the Spinsback website or join the waitlist, what we use it for and what you can do about it.
1. What data we collect
When you join the waitlist:
- your email and the username you choose;
- the site language and your confirmation that you're an adult and accept the terms;
- the date and time of your sign-up.
In addition, automatically:
- the IP address and the browser and device type (user agent) you sign up from;
- the campaign parameters of the link you arrived from (for example utm_source, utm_campaign, gclid or fbclid) and the referring page, if any.
If you write to us from the contact page: your name (if you give it), your email, the topic and the message, plus the IP address and browser.
We don't ask for payment details or identity documents.
2. What we use it for
- Keeping your spot on the waitlist and showing you your position.
- Emailing you when Spinsback is available and sending you launch information.
- Measuring which campaigns and channels work best.
- Preventing fake, automated or duplicate sign-ups.
- Replying to the messages you send us.
We don't sell your personal data.
3. Cookies and browser storage
For now the site doesn't use advertising or analytics cookies. We temporarily store in your browser (sessionStorage) the campaign parameters of the link you arrived from and the referring page, so we can link them to your sign-up. They are deleted when you close the tab.
If we add analytics or advertising tools in the future, we'll update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent.
4. Who we share data with
Only with providers that help us run the site, for example hosting and database services, and email delivery once we enable it. These providers process data on our behalf.
We may also share data where required by law or by a competent authority.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your data while you're on the waitlist and, after launch, for as long as you have an account or until you ask us to delete it. Contact messages are kept as long as needed to reply and follow up.
6. Your rights
You can ask at any time to access, correct or delete your data, and to unsubscribe from emails. Write to us from the contact page using the email you signed up with.
7. Security
We store data on servers with restricted access and take reasonable measures to protect it. No system is 100% secure, but we work to reduce the risks.
8. Minors
The site is for adults aged 18 or over. We don't knowingly collect data from minors. If we find a sign-up from a minor, we delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We'll publish the new version on this page with its date.
